Rendora Lens — Privacy Policy

Last updated: 2026-09-17. Rendora Lens is a free Chrome extension published by GN Motion Pte. Ltd. (Singapore), the maker of Rendora.

What the extension does

When you right-click an image or a video and choose "Analyze with Rendora Lens", the extension reads that media and sends it to Google's Gemini API using your own API key, to generate a text description ("prompt") that can recreate it. The result is stored locally in your browser, in a library you can browse, search and delete at any time.

Data we collect

None. Rendora Lens has no account, no sign-up and no server of ours involved in the analysis. There is no email capture inside the extension.

Where your data goes

• Your Gemini API key is stored only in your browser's local extension storage (chrome.storage). It is never sent to us — it is sent only to Google, to authenticate your own Gemini API calls.
• The image or video you right-click is sent directly from your browser to Google's Gemini API for analysis. We never see it, receive it, or store a copy of it.
• The generated prompt and your library are stored locally on your device (IndexedDB). They never leave your browser unless you choose to copy or export them yourself.

One small request to our server

The extension periodically fetches a small public configuration file from our domain (rendora-fulfillment.vercel.app) containing the Gemini model name and prompt templates it uses. This request carries no personal data, no identifiers and no content — it is a plain static file fetch, cached locally for 24 hours.

Third parties

Google Gemini API only, used directly by your browser with your own key, under Google's terms.

Your rights

You can delete everything the extension has stored — your library, your API key and any cached settings — from the extension's settings page ("Clear library") or by removing the extension.
